How to improve Teaching physical education

1. what is meant by the idea that teaching is a goal-oriented activity?

Goal-oriented activity is having goals set for your students and having the goals be obtainable. Some goals that would be ideal for students in physical education would be for the students to be competent in 6 activities proficient in 3 across 3 categories by the end of the students senior year.

4. Why is the process that teachers choose to use to teach content important?

It is important because the teacher needs to be able to make their lessons effective and meaningful to their students. If the students do not like, or do not see how this could help them later on in life the students will be turned off to the tasks. Also if the student isn't learning how to do the activity correct then how will they later on in their life.

5. Why is the movement task-student response unit of analysis so important in physical education?

It is important because teachers can take a task that didn't produce the outcome they thought the task would, and they can change the task to increase the success rate. It can also allow the teacher to see if he can allow his or her students can be allowed to choose their own groups without fooling around in the groups and also work well together.
